In 2005 Steve Miles decided to use his extensive knowledge of wine to bring a unique selection of wines from Europe to the US. With over 25 years in wholesale management and importing of wines he is able to seek out and deliver some of the most interesting and exciting wines from France, Spain and Portugal. All the wines represented in the SMS portfolio must meet three key criteria:

• The wine must be a good representation of the variety of grape from which it is produced
• The wine must represent the terroir of its origin offering a true "sense of place"
• The wine must be an over-achiever in the price / value category

Our ultimate goal is to provide a high quality, unique selection of wines with excellent value regardless
of price point.
