HERETAT DE TAVERNERS
Built over the original farmhouse, dating from 1667 and restored by the present owners, Heretat de Taverners is a truly unique winery.
Heretat de Taverners produces only estate bottled wines from their 30 Ha., planted to the local the varieties of Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera along with Graciano and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Graciano at the winery is the first to be planted in the south of Spain. The soil changes from poor sands in the highest elevations to a more productive medium (clay soil);
The winery works with several different trellising systems and leaf management programs in order to reduce yields and achieve the highest potential quality from each separate vineyard.
