BODEGAS HISPANO SUIZAS

Bodegas Hispano-Suizas project was born in 1999 when we started to plant new varieties in hour 55 hectare vineyard in Requena ( Valencia ) at 750 meters high inland Valencia region. Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon , started to give the best of the plants in 2006 so we started production of our wines along with our 7 hectares of Bobal local grape that were 55 to 75 years old aleready.

Pablo Ossorio, winemaker, Rafa Navarro, winemaker and vinegrower, and Marc Grin are Hispano-Suizas team and we worked with different production systems to give and individual character to our wines. 

All our grapes are hand-picked, cooled in refrigerated containers for 3 days and fermented in 400 l open barrels with individual cooling system to have the best flavor extraction and structure

We loved and played music for many years that's why we gave our "compositions" music related names such as Impromptu, Bassus, Tantum Ergo and the Quod Superius to come.
