JAUMANDREU

The Appelation of Origin known as Pla de Bages is located in the province of Barcelona. It is a region where the exceptional micro-climate forms a perfect natural advantage for cultivating vines in an ideal situation. The personality of the wines from Bages is conditioned by its rigorous climate, scarce rainfall and undulated soil types. These conditions determine a limited grape production but of exceptional quality. In 2005, this D.O. celebrated ten years’ of existence, as proof of its fully active presence in the wine growing panorama of Spain.

At Jaumandreu, within the Appelation of Origin called Pla de Bages, 60 hectares have been recuperated for vines with the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonay and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties.
