Solertia

Vinyes de Manyetes is a vineyard property located in the very centre of the Priorat region, where very old Grenache and Carinyena vines stand both in terraces and steep slopes typically called “costers”.

It is a particularly poor terroir, too sunny and exposed to an important dryness, almost on the verge of the vine survival itself. Only the river Ebro influence that can be guessed in the horizon, gives from time to time some dampness that lefts the vegetation survive.

It’s an exciting challenge, because under these almost desert circumstances, the Priorat essence gets concentrated… In a corner, close to suffocation, an old slope holds out, arid and steep, covered by slates and planted with Grenache and Carignan: an emotional mix in a peerless place.

This is where Solertia is born…
